We’re Partnering with Galaxy Gardens to Turn the Phoenix Valley into a Rainwater Harvesting Paradise

If you’ve researched rainwater harvesting companies in Phoenix, Arizona, you’ve probably come across Galaxy Gardens. For several years now, Clint & Evan have been the only active practitioners in the Valley. And we want to change that.

From designing to masterfully executing complex, rainwater-fed permaculture food forests, it’s obvious that Galaxy Gardens are the best in the business out here.

I started Permascaping with a vision to make conventional landscaping regenerative instead, which is basically the same vision Clint & Evan have had since their early days. They bring combined decades of trades experience and 5 years of rainwater harvesting, while I bring 10 years of early stage tech startup building & scaling plus a colorful palette of digital creative skills.

That’s why we’ve been quietly working together for almost a year now, blending our superpowers, doing projects, harmonizing our systems and processes into one super-system as seamless as the gutters we install.

And now, we’re excited to officially announce our partnership to continue to transform the Phoenix Valley the way we envision it together.

How does Permascaping fit into the Phoenix rainwater harvesting scene?

Permascaping as a brand name has enormous potential to affect the change we seek to make. It’s catchy and descriptive. People have already begun using it as a noun, just like an Uber or an Airbnb. Beyond branding, this is incredibly powerful for changing culture.

In addition, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is a powerful business vehicle to carry this cultural transformation. Our mission, our charitable purpose, is to build self-sufficient communities that repurpose waste, build soil, grow food, harvest rainwater, and live free. Anything that fits into that purpose is something that we want to be involved in however we can, and the IRS lets us earn revenue tax-free as long as we achieve our charitable purpose. In fact, there are many large, well-known charities that earn revenue through sales of products and services. That means finding ways to support and partner with Galaxy Gardens and others in each regional market.

What happens now?

Over the next few months, the remainder of 2025, we will begin cross-promoting and sharing in each other’s brand equity, reputation, and reviews. We’ll clearly communicate this change across our social media and client-facing channels through co-branded content, leaving no doubt that we are one great, culture-changing 501(c)(3) moving forward.

For our customers and partners, not much will change. Emails will be ported to @permascaping.com addresses, and the Galaxy Gardens website & social media accounts will redirect visitors.

Here’s to greater impact for Phoenix & beyond!
