Angelita Daisy (Tetraneuris acaulis, syn. Hymenoxys acaulis)

One of our all-time favorites, the Angelita daisy is an excellent choice for tight spaces where we don’t want a plant that’s constantly in need of trimming back.

1–2 ft wide, 8–12 in tall

Moderate — fills out within 1–2 growing seasons

Water Requirements (Minimum vs. Maximum Growth)

  • Minimum: Very low — thrives on natural rainfall once established

  • For Maximum Growth & Blooms: Light irrigation every 10–14 days in summer keeps flowers coming nearly year-round

  • Provides cheerful, long-lasting yellow blooms

  • Great for rock gardens, borders, and xeriscapes
