Your information
Privacy Notice
Effective October 18, 2026
This notice explains how Permascaping, a DBA of Homegrown Foods, an Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, handles personal information in our app, website, services, and customer messaging channels.
Information we collect
We may collect account and contact information; property details; map locations, measurements, plans, and files you provide; requests, purchases, payments, and project activity; consultation and support messages; and basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Depending on the messaging channel and what you choose to provide, we may also collect:
- Your name, phone number, email address, platform username, or channel-specific identifier.
- Message content, attachments, delivery and read events, consent records, timestamps, and conversation history.
- Inquiry, appointment, estimate, order, property, project, and requested-service details.
- Consent evidence such as the source page, disclosure version, IP address, browser or device information, and user agent.
Apple Messages for Business provides businesses an opaque identifier rather than your phone number, email address, or Apple Account details unless you separately choose to share personal information.
How we use information
We use information to provide your property dashboard; save your work; process requests and purchases; respond to inquiries; provide customer support; schedule and coordinate consultations, appointments, estimates, deliveries, and projects; fulfill requested services; maintain consent and suppression records; prevent fraud and misuse; monitor delivery; train and supervise staff; improve service quality; protect the service; and comply with legal obligations.
Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence may assist with classification, summarization, and drafting. Unless a separately disclosed workflow says otherwise, a Permascaping team member reviews outbound AI-drafted replies before sending. Do not send highly sensitive information through messaging channels.
Sharing and service providers
We may disclose information to vendors that provide cloud hosting, authentication, mapping, payments, messaging transport, customer support, analytics, security, and professional services on our behalf, and when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. These providers may include wireless carriers and platform operators involved in delivering a message.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared with subcontractors that support messaging delivery and operations, but not for those parties’ independent marketing.
Analytics, cookies and advertising measurement
We use PostHog to understand how our websites and app are used: the pages visited, what is clicked, where a visit came from (a search, a social post, a link or a campaign), the kind of device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from the network address. It also makes heatmaps and recordings of how pages are used, with everything typed into a form hidden. When you are signed in, this activity is linked to your account so we can help if something goes wrong. It is sent through our own web address, kept for our own use, and never sold.
We also use the Permascaping Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to learn which of our posts and ads lead to inquiries, consultation bookings, checkout starts and purchases. Browser and server events may share a random event identifier so Meta counts one action once.
We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, property addresses, project notes, consultation answers, payment-card details, message contents, or other form contents to Meta. Meta measurement may use Meta browser identifiers and ordinary network or device information such as IP address and browser user agent, and Meta may process it under its own privacy policy.
Where the law asks for consent first (the European Union and European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec), we ask before Meta measurement runs. Until you agree there, our own analytics only counts the visit: nothing is stored in your browser and nothing is recorded. Everywhere else these tools run by default. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to share your activity with Meta and keep our own analytics to that same careful mode. You can also ask us to stop at any time by writing to team@permascaping.com.
Retention
We retain information only as reasonably needed for customer service, project administration, accounting, suppression of opted-out contacts, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and legitimate business operations. Retention periods may differ by record type and platform. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, except where continued retention is required or permitted by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No messaging or storage system is completely secure, and ordinary SMS is not end-to-end encrypted.
Your choices and rights
You may update account information in the app and opt out of messages as described in our Messaging Terms. You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or opt-out suppression purposes.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through messaging channels.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice and will post the revised effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to jeremy@permascaping.com or 480-478-3036.
