An apricot-plum cross that looks like an apricot but has a flavor and texture of its own, and a good low desert pick. It needs under 300 chill hours and ripens mid to late May in the low desert. Self-fruitful, though it crops heavier with an apricot such as Katy close by.

At mid elevation it ripens in August, and the main risk is a late frost on early blossoms. In the low desert it is borderline on chill (up to 500 hours) and the fruit ripens in July heat, so it may sunburn. Self-fruitful. Flavor Delight is the safer low desert aprium.
